I can always tell when we are on the cusp of the end of summer as my wardrobe starts to turn to the darker hues. As much as I love the summer months, and everything that comes with it, after weeks of sweating in the streets of NYC it's about time for some cooler days. The closet is screaming to be rotated and refreshed with a new fall wardrobe and I can't be more excited to wear some of the latest gear I've discovered while browsing my favorite online shops!

For now though, I'm trying to find the balance of summer fabrics with fall colors. One of my go-to color combos as of late has been a mix of grey, black, and blues... the perfect season transitioning combination. There's just something so crisp about a navy and black combo that instantly updates a look into a more modern and polished OOTD. And to think, one of my earliest lessons in style was being schooled about black and blue not complimenting each other. Just goes to show, style is all about how it makes you feel... not about what others think they should feel. Follow your gut!
