With so much pride and excitement around the U.S. this weekend, there's no better time to post some of my images from the latest #WheredSaulGo Travel Series where I traveled to our nations capital, D.C.! Only about a four hour bus or train ride away from New York City, D.C. has always been on my long list of places to visit in the States, but for some reason I just haven't found my way there. Thankfully, a few friends from back home in Texas put together a guys' trip to the land of so many historic monuments and museums.
It was a short trip, but we managed to hit up just about every famous monument that so many tourists come to this city to see. From the White House to the George Washington Monument and everywhere in between and surrounding, it was a non-stop trek around the beautiful city of D.C.! We definitely underestimated the summer sun, but thanks to our friends at the Kimpton Palomar Dupont Circle and their trusty [and complimentary] bike rentals we managed to zip right through them all. I'll be posting the full photo series soon but this is just a quick sneak peek as I'm en route to my next #WheredSaulGo destination... Oahu, Hawaii [again]! #LoveWins
