LOTW: Topcoat Takeover
There's really nothing more classic than a topcoat during fall/winter. It can easily upgrade your daily style no matter how you're dressed below the tailored outer-piece and makes your look just that much more interesting. It makes people instantly curious about what you might be hiding under your topcoat... and this Look of the Week shows just how I pull it off daily!
I'm not going to lie, I am completely outerwear obsessed [boarder-line hoarder] and when browsing through my closet you would see just about half of it filled with jackets, flannels, and over-shirts during the colder months of year. I can never have too many! Currently though, I am hooked on topcoats... there's just something about a good tailored overcoat that makes me feel sophisticated and mature but in the best ways possible.
As you can see above, it's all about the topcoat when I style it into my looks. No matter if I'm wearing a modern, more expensive all-black look or going out to grab a coffee in my sweats and sneakers, or heading to the airport for a quick trip to escape the cold... it's all about the topcoat and will be the first thing anyone will notice!
