Wrist Wear

With a growing collection of watches, I love timepieces that are not only unique and aesthetically stylish but most importantly durable enough to invest in knowing it will be a lifetime purchase. Obviously, aesthetics comes first with an eye always on style, but lately I've really been dedicating myself to investing in pieces to incorporate into my daily looks that will not only be in style but will also be carried with me for many years to come.

Last week I had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of I.N.O.X [French for 'stainless steel'], the latest to debut from the Swiss brand Victorinox, and 130 years since the brands inception. The brand introduced the I.N.O.X proving the durability with a campaign video where a 64 ton tank rolled straight over the timepiece and live testing stations including sandblasting, boiling in water over a burner, and even rolling over the piece with a FDNY fire truck. Made with a solid steel body and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal anti-reflect face, the I.N.O.X confirmed its' presence as not only being one of a kind, sleek, and stylish but also durable and worth what the piece costs - which, with the meticulous craftsmanship Victorinox is known for, could easily be more. This guy will be on my wrist for many years to come. Now excuse me while I wait for the next fire truck to roll by!
